Kay has a vast amount of knowledge in the world of Equestrianism.  She has given talks on Horses, their general well being, and the filming of the Lloyds Bank advertisement, when her stallion Beatos was filmed at Pentewan Sands, Cornwall in 1989.  Now retired she enjoys her life in North Wales, but is excited to travel to other venues to talk about her life experiences.
She has extensive knowledge of the horse breeding industry as well as the Trakehner horses, their history and evolvement into wonderful Dressage horses and Show Jumpers.

There are events in schools,  others in libraries and other venues.  Clubs and W.I.

Most popular talk is Live the Dream, about the making of the advert for the famous bank. Complete with slides and some filming footage, it is interesting and light hearted.  There is memorabilia of the famous stallion together with photographs.

Kay's second most popular talk is Myths and Legends of Cornwall.  After a lifetime in this fairy tale county, Kay relates some of the legends in some of the remote places of Cornwall. Accompanied by slides  of places you may not know existed.

A new talk included in the list is called "Eclipse, the greatest Racehorse ever born"   this horse is the most influential stallion in the history of the Thoroughbred horse.

All talks last for 50-60 minutes.  Usually accompanied by slides and photographs.

Ysceifiog Storytelling weekend on the19th May ,was a huge success, and judging by the feedback from the audience was greatly enjoyed by all.   The storytellers ranged from the youngest child of 8yrs to the oldest of nearly 90yrs young.    Yours truly took part and I thoroughly enjoyed it.   Our next venue is the Ysceifiog Festival which takes place over three days, starting on Friday 21st June until Sunday 23rd.    There will be plenty of stories told then, and lots of music.

My stories are usually folk tales, full of mystery and magic but based loosely on legend.  Occasionally I throw in a more modern one, but enjoy the telling as much as watching the audience, enthralled with the unfolding of myth and mystery.

You should come and listen.
